At Wings of Wales, we’re proud to offer this new and exclusive wildlife experience. More than just observing an animal, this is your chance to witness the incredible environmental impact of nature’s finest engineers.

What to Expect

🦫 Welcome and Introduction
Start your visit with tea, coffee, and Welsh cakes at our base while learning about the beaver’s natural history, its role in UK ecosystems, and the story behind its extinction and reintroduction.

🚗 Travel to the Reserve
Take a short journey by vehicle (or by foot, if you prefer) to our private two-acre enclosed site, not accessible to the general public.

🌿 Guided Habitat Tour
Walk through a landscape shaped by beaver activity and learn about:

• Dam building and wetland creation
• Tree felling and flood control
• The rise in biodiversity that follows beaver settlement

🦉 Hide Experience
End your visit with a 30-minute wildlife watching session from a secluded hide, where you can quietly observe the environment and — with a bit of luck — even catch a glimpse of these elusive animals.
